ANOTHER GREAT
A collection of eight items, including a pair of Royal Doulton ‘Heroes of the Sky’ limited edition fine bone china collector’s plates from 1993. These plates feature aviation art by Michael Turner and are titled ‘Lancaster Low Overhead’ (plate 4179D) and ‘Spitfire Coming Home’ (plate 6293E), presented in simple wooden frames. Also included is a Coalport ‘The Spitfire Tankard 1986’ in fine bone china, decorated with Spitfire aircraft and bearing facsimile signatures of test pilots Jeffrey Quill, Sir Humphrey Edwardes Jones, and Group Captain S. Wroath. The collection further comprises a brass-toned ‘Quartz’ pocket watch-style desk clock, a painted wood and metal model San Francisco cable car marked “POWELL & HYDE Sts.”, “CABLE CAR”, and “SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL RY.”, a small wood-look resin golf bag figurine with a metal club, and a ceramic tankard with black and white historical architectural motifs.
