ANOTHER GREAT
A group of four Chinese Resin figures, depicting Bodhisattvas, in the style of the Dazu Grottoes. The collection includes two highly detailed busts and two smaller full-length figures. The busts feature ornate headdresses incorporating smaller seated Buddha-like forms, lotus petals, and scrollwork. The base of the left bust is inscribed “Grotto Art in Dazu County,” while the base of the right bust displays partial Chinese characters “大足石刻” (Dàzú Shíkè), translating to “Dazu Rock Carvings” or “Dazu Grottoes.” The full-length figures also present elaborate headdresses and flowing robes. All items are crafted from an off-white, ivory-toned resin.
