ANOTHER GREAT
A group of four decorative figures depicting the Buddhist deity Guanyin, crafted from resin. This lot comprises two full-length standing figures and two bust forms, all executed in a traditional East Asian style. The creamy-white resin imitates ivory or bone, featuring detailed flowing robes, elaborate headdresses, and serene facial expressions. The bases of the two standing figures are molded with Chinese characters, reading “大慈大悲 觀世音菩薩” (Dà Cí Dà Bēi Guānshìyīn Púsà), which translates to “Great Compassion and Great Mercy Guanyin Bodhisattva.”
The standing figures measure approximately 12 inches in height.
The bust forms measure approximately 9 inches in height.
