This lot features a pair of Stanley Gibbons stamp albums. The first is a brown cardboard binder, titled “Stanley Gibbons The collector’s world An SG Stamp Album.” The second is a red, possibly faux leather or vinyl, binder, identified as a Stanley Gibbons Simplex album, featuring a gold-embossed Union Jack shield design on its cover. Internal pages from the red album, copyrighted “© Stanley Gibbons Publications Ltd. 1979” and marked “ELEVENTH EDITION,” display various British postage stamps from 1976. These include sets commemorating the “Centenary of Royal National Rose Society,” “British Cultural Traditions,” and the “500th Anniversary of British Printing,” featuring historical figures such as William Caxton. The stamps exhibit various denominations (e.g., 8 1/2p, 10p, 11p, 13p) and are neatly mounted within the album’s pages.
