A Vintage Iron and Brass Capper and Decapper Primer Shotgun Tool. This small, mechanical device features a dark-painted cast iron base with decorative molding. An upright dark metal post supports a lever arm with a turned light-wood handle, activating a brass capping mechanism positioned over one of two integrated brass bottle-shaped components. The overall construction suggests a vintage or antique period.
