A Vintage English Smiths Brass Electric Lantern Clock. This mantel or table clock features a square brass case with decorative corner pillars, an ornate pierced gallery, and a domed top surmounted by a finial, exhibiting a design reminiscent of Gothic Revival or Baroque styles. The circular dial is marked with Roman numerals and displays an allegorical or mythological scene at its center. The name ‘SMITHS’ is visible above the central axis. An open rear door reveals an internal electric motor mechanism.
