The upper plaque depicts an agricultural scene with two horses pulling a plow guided by a farmer, while the lower plaque portrays a multi-horse drawn stagecoach or carriage with passengers traveling through a wooded landscape. Both plaques exhibit a traditional, folk art or revival style, finished to resemble medium to dark brown stained wood. No visible text or markings are apparent.
