A group of 5 diverse commemorative medals and tokens. This lot includes a gold-tone circular medal, likely French, featuring a building flanked by stars and marked “MONNAIE DE PARIS” and “COLLECTION NATIONALE OFFICIELLE” with “EDITION LIMITÉE” text. Also present is a dark bronze-tone oval medal, equipped with a suspension bail, depicting a pelican and inscribed “MONTEPIO GERAL” in Portuguese. A silver-tone circular medal with a bail displays the four card suits and includes the visible text “ANTONIN DEVASIAK” along with partially visible foreign script. A copper-tone circular commemorative medal, dated 1969, depicts the “NATIONAL ART CENTRE” (Centre National des Arts) and is marked “CANADA’S OTTAWA CAPITAL” in both English and French. The final large gold-tone circular medal is marked “QUEENSLAND SUNSHINE STATE,” featuring a reclining female figure above a stylized cityscape.
