Another Great Auction
A collection of five assorted commemorative medals and coins, primarily crafted from various base metals including bronze, brass-toned, and silver-toned alloys. The largest item is a bronze-toned medal, dated 2005 and marked “SPONSORED BY Ford ARUNDEL,” presented in a dark green velvet-lined case bearing the royal warrant of “TOYE, KENNING & SPENCER LTD LONDON.” The other four, uncased, include a gold-toned “SILK CUT DOMINOES TOURNAMENT 1985 WINNER” medal with a loop; a silver-toned medal commemorating “DUCKHAMS Q Specialists in Lubrication 1899-1977” with embossed classic cars; a gold-toned “HIGHLAND PARK SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY ORKNEY ISLANDS” coin; and a bronze-toned “Mars Mini Marathon London 17th April 1988” medal with a loop, depicting runners and Tower Bridge. The items span various modern periods, from 1977 (commemorated) to 2005.
