Another Great Auction
A complete 5-volume set of ‘The Modern Physician,’ edited by Dr. Andrew Wilson and published by The Caxton Publishing Company, London, circa 1912. The set features dark green hardcovers with extensive and ornate gold tooling on the spines and front covers, characteristic of late 19th or early 20th-century publishing. The spines are sequentially numbered from ‘VOL. I.’ to ‘VOL. V.’. The interior title page identifies the work as ‘BEING A COMPLETE GUIDE TO THE ATTAINMENT AND PRESERVATION OF HEALTH,’ and ‘Profusely Illustrated by Coloured Plates and Models, Photographs, Diagrams, and Woodcuts.’
