A pair of framed black and white prints, each housed in a dark wood-effect frame with a light mat. The upper print is a technical illustration depicting three streamlined steam locomotives. It is inscribed ‘ASSOCIATED SOCIETY OF LOCOMOTIVE ENGINEERS & FIREMEN KINGS CROSS BRANCH,’ ‘PRESENTED WITH COMPLIMENTS,’ and signed by ‘Andy Cotogno Chairman’ and ‘Pat Quigley Secretary,’ with a central emblem stating ‘A.S.L.E. & F. ESTAB! 1880’. The lower print is a historical engraving or woodcut, depicting a bustling crowd scene in front of a railway station, with visible text within the image including ‘MIDLAND RAILWAY,’ ‘ST PANCRAS,’ ‘ROYAL VISIT,’ and ‘PARCELS OFFICE,’ suggesting a late 19th or early 20th-century period.
