Another Great Auction
A 10-piece collection of Poole Pottery Twintone ‘Mushroom & Sepia’ dinnerware and serving pieces, dating to the 1960s. The lot comprises one covered casserole dish with a cream-colored body and contrasting brown handles and knob, five oval serving dishes with brown interiors and lighter exteriors, and two cups with cream exteriors and brown interiors. The pieces exhibit a modernist aesthetic, characterized by their two-tone ceramic construction. A clear maker’s mark on the base of one cup reads “POOLE” above a stylized fish or dolphin emblem, with “ENGLAND” below.
