A Norleans Red and Black Spatter Glass Vase, circa 1960s. This decorative glass vase features a flared rim, a tapering neck, and a bulbous body that descends to a flat base. The primary color is a deep, translucent red, transitioning to a lighter red or pink towards the lower body, and extensively decorated with an abstract black or very dark brown spatter pattern, often referred to as “fenicio” style. This pattern is dense and mottled at the base, becoming more linear and streaky as it extends up the vase towards the rim. The interior appears a solid, bright red-orange. The upper portion of the body exhibits a subtle vertical ribbed or fluted texture. No visible text, signatures, or maker’s marks are discernible.
