This lot comprises three vintage commemorative awards. The first two are National Safety Council Safe Driver Award Medals. The leftmost medal features a dark green ribbon from which three brass-tone bars marked “1966,” “1970,” and “1971” are suspended, leading to a circular metal medal inscribed “SAFETY SERVICE,” “NO ACCIDENT,” and “NATIONAL SAFETY COUNCIL” with a central red triangle motif. The central medal similarly displays a dark green ribbon, attached to a brass-tone pin bar marked “1973” (with additional faint script visible), which supports a further brass-tone bar also marked “1973,” suspending a star-shaped medal. This star-shaped medal also features a central red triangle motif and is inscribed with “SAFETY SERVICE,” “NO ACCIDENT,” and “NATIONAL SAFETY COUNCIL.”
