Another Great Auction
A collection of six die-cast model vehicles, primarily modern reproductions, including models by Vitesse and Corgi. This assortment comprises four buses and two sports/race cars. The buses include two double-decker types, one with “QUICKS for FORDS” livery on a “LEYLAND PDI” model, and another “THE BARKERS LANGLEY” livery from the “Corgi ORIGINAL OMNIBUS” series. A third bus is a green “CROSVILLE” livery, also from the “Corgi ORIGINAL OMNIBUS” range. The two sports/race cars consist of a green “JAGUAR XJ-S THE GENTLEMAN’S EXPRESS” and a silver open-wheel race car marked ‘4’. Constructed from die-cast metal and plastic, the models depict vehicles from various eras and are housed within clear acrylic display cases. Price stickers for $5.00 and $6.00 with “unit 146” or “u146” are visible on some cases.
