A collection of seven vintage paperback and softcover books and manuals, predominantly focused on motorcycles and scooters, likely dating from the mid-20th century. The collection includes four volumes from “Pitman’s Motor-Cyclists’ Library”: “The Book of the B.S.A.” by W. C. Haycraft; “The Book of the B.S.A. BANTAM” by W. C. Haycraft; “The BOOK of the VELOCETTE” by Heathcote; and “The Book of the N.S.U. QUICKLY All Models” by R. H. Warring, noted as ‘How-to-do-it’ manuals. Also included are a “RALEIGH Runabout MODEL RM6 RIDING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTION BOOK,” marked with “6200607” and a visible “PRICE 3/-” (three shillings); “The Second Book of the LAMBRETTA”; and “The Lambretta Service Guide & Handbook,” which features an illustration of a scooter on its cover. The items are constructed from paper and cardboard.
