The Compact Edition Of The Oxford English Dictionary, a two-volume set, housed within a dark, likely cloth-covered slipcase. Both volumes are bound in a matching dark material with gilt lettering, identifying them as “VOLUME I A-O” and “VOLUME II P-Z SUPPLEMENT AND BIBLIOGRAPHY.” Each spine features a distinctive gold double ‘O’ or similar stylized logo at the base. Integrated within the slipcase is a rectangular magnifying glass with a black plastic handle and frame, marked “MADE IN HONG KONG.”
