Stylistically, it aligns with late 19th or early 20th-century academic or Art Nouveau interpretations of classical motifs. The bronze displays a dark patination with significant areas of green accretion, consistent with verdigris or an intentionally applied verde antico finish, particularly around the figure’s garland and the cart’s edges. The bronze base is signed ‘J. BOUSSEAU’ in script.
