Another Great Auction
A diverse collection of books presented in three open cardboard boxes. The bottom box contains a substantial, though likely incomplete, set of “THE CHILDREN’S ENCYCLOPAEDIA EDITED BY ARTHUR MEE”, comprising multiple volumes uniformly bound in dark green cloth or leatherette with elaborate gilt tooling. The central box holds a large assortment of British comic annuals and children’s activity books, dating from the mid-20th century to recent editions. Titles include “June Book 1963”, “BEANO ANNUAL 2023”, “DANDY ANNUAL 2023”, “SCOOP! 1980”, various “Football Book” annuals, and adult comic annuals from “Viz” such as “Bumper Book of Shite,” “The Big Bell End,” and “The Fish Supper.” The top box contains a smaller collection of juvenile storybooks, including several Disney titles like “101 Dalmatians,” “Dumbo,” and “Aladdin.”
