A pair of carved hardwood bookends, executed in the Art Deco style. Each bookend features a domed shape set on a rectangular base, with a finely carved decorative band encircling its curved perimeter. One bookend is prominently carved with the date ‘1935’ within a circular motif, while the other features an intertwined monogram, appearing to be ‘TG’ or similar initials, similarly carved. Crafted from a dark hardwood.
