A Thai handmade decorative screen or room divider, constructed from vertical light-toned bamboo or rattan-like slats, secured with woven cord. The interior is lined with white fabric panels. The front features a central diamond-shaped appliqué with an abstract, multi-lobed floral or organic motif, crafted from dark, tangled fibers, possibly dyed rattan or string, set against a white ground. The piece rests on a dark-stained or painted base. Made in Thailand.
