A small, round, lidded decorative box, likely a trinket or pill box. The domed lid features a colorful transfer-printed or painted image of a traditional fox hunting scene, depicting a hunter in a red coat on horseback with a dog, set within a gilded metal frame. The body of the box is a dark forest green ceramic, with a thin gold band around its upper rim. The interior is plain white, likely ceramic or porcelain.
