Another Great Auction 6th November
A Royal Staffordshire Pottery ‘WILKINSON LTD’ Kingfisher Vase, circa 1910. This polychrome glazed ceramic figurine depicts a kingfisher bird, rendered in vibrant blue, green, orange, and white enamels, perched atop a dark, tree stump-form base. The base features multiple openings, suggestive of a spill vase or posy holder. The underside of the base bears a green transfer mark of a crowned lion crest, encircled by ‘ROYAL STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY,’ with ‘WILKINSON LTD’ and ‘ENGLAND’ printed below. A small red, brush-like mark is also present near the main mark.
