Another Great Auction 6th November
A pair of polychrome glazed porcelain figurines, executed in the Rococo style, depicting 18th-century courtly figures. The male figure is seated cross-legged, dressed in a green coat with gold trim and pink floral breeches, playing a flute-like instrument. The female figure stands beside an elaborate floral pedestal, wearing a pink bodice and white skirt, with numerous applied light blue and pink floral elements adorning both her and the structure. Both figures feature hand-painted details and gold accents. No visible manufacturer’s marks or text are discernible.
