The dark brown carved wood figurine shows a crouching male figure, possibly an elder, with East Asian stylistic features including a topknot hairstyle and a beard. He is shown with a large, textured basket beside him, appearing to manipulate an object in his hands. The carving rests on a naturalistic base.
