A Vintage Palitoy England Black Baby Doll, circa 1960. The doll is likely constructed from hard plastic or composition, featuring a dark skin tone, rooted black synthetic hair, and painted eyes. The doll is dressed in a handmade knitted outfit comprising a turquoise long-sleeved top with a yellow collar and ties, and a matching yellow skirt with a turquoise patterned hem. Impressed markings on the back of the neck include “PALITOY”, “MADE IN ENGLAND”, “14C”, and partially legible text appearing to be “S. B. EYE”.
