Another Great Auction 6th November
A collection of four medals and awards. Comprising a silver-tone metal chain, possibly a watch chain, with a clasp at one end and a bronze-toned quatrefoil-shaped fob at the other, engraved “I.D.D.A.”. A smaller bronze-toned medallion features a central blank shield within an ornate cruciform design. A large circular bronze-toned medal depicts an allegorical scene of a classical female figure leading a procession of people. The collection also includes a gold-toned, star-shaped medal presented in a clear plastic sleeve with a blue backing, marked “LEICESTERSHIRE CONSTABULARY 1982” around a central crest.
