Another Great Auction 6th November
A glazed ceramic figural sculpture by Lucien Neuquelman of Paris, depicting a hobo clown. The piece portrays a bearded male figure, wearing a green hat, a red plaid shirt, and patched black trousers, seated on a white bench. He is positioned beneath a tree with green, textured foliage, with a bottle and fruit on the bench beside him. Two small birds are visible on the oval-shaped, textured base at his feet. The underside of the base is embossed with the English phrase “MADE IN FRANCE” and signed in script “Grauquelman PARIS”, consistent with works by Lucien Neuquelman.
