A Vintage Russian marble and bronze lizard jewelry box. This rectangular lidded box is crafted from dark green, variegated stone, exhibiting extensive lighter veining. The stone is consistent with either marble or serpentine. The lid is adorned with a bronze-toned metal appliqué depicting a lizard or salamander. The box rests on four scrolled, bronze-toned metal feet.
