A modern or contemporary studio pottery ceramic handled cup or mug by Jennie Hale, featuring a wide mouth tapering to an unglazed reddish-brown foot. The exterior is decorated with an illustrative, stylized depiction of an animal head, possibly a hare, deer, or gazelle, accompanied by botanical elements. The decoration is rendered in linear outline with color washes over a light crackle glaze. Signed “Jennie Hale” in dark script to the base.
