A brown glazed earthenware tankard or mug with a single handle and decorative white slip-trailing. The cylindrical body features a central applied circular medallion, framed by a white scalloped border, containing embossed text “POJENI SI SVAMI” (Czech/Slovak for “Drinking with you” or “Toast with you”) above an emblem of a bird or eagle surmounting two crossed tools, and the date “1803”. A matching white slip-trailed scalloped border also decorates the rim. The style is traditional or folk art.
