A rectangular decorative casket crafted from cast metal in the Gothic Revival style. The exterior features intricate architectural motifs including pointed arches, tracery, and foliage adorning all visible surfaces, including the hinged lid and sides. It exhibits a two-tone finish, comprising an antiqued bronze or patinated base metal with brighter gold-toned accents on raised details, edges, and its four bracket feet. The casket includes a decorative lock plate and is accompanied by a small brass-toned skeleton key. The key’s bow is marked with a stylized lion rampant motif above the letters ‘E+S’. The interior of the box is lined with dark blue velvet.
