A Royal Copenhagen ‘Fantail Goldfish’ porcelain plate, model number 931, featuring a monochromatic sepia-toned design depicting two fish. One fish is sculpted in high relief, appearing to emerge from the dish’s surface, while the second is painted flat on the white ground, both rendered in a naturalistic style with flowing fins and tails. The reverse side displays the printed ‘ROYAL COPENHAGEN DENMARK’ mark with a crown logo, along with the characteristic three blue wavy lines factory mark. Additional hand-painted markings include a green ‘169’ and blue ‘931 YR’.
