An R.S.P.C.A. Merit Award Horse Brass, commemorating the London Van Horse Parade of 1913. This gilt-metal badge or fob is shield-shaped with an integrated suspension loop. It features a silver-toned applied crest at the top center depicting a crowned shield flanked by heraldic supporters. The main body is engraved with “MERIT BADGE” along the top curve, “R.S.P.C.A.” in red enamel, followed by “LONDON VAN HORSE PARADE 1913” in black enamel.
