Another Great Auction 6th November
A Tibetan painted four-door cabinet, 19th Century. This large, rectangular wooden cabinet or sideboard is adorned with vibrant polychrome and gilt decoration in an East Asian style. The front features four cabinet doors and two small drawers, predominantly painted in red and black, with central panels depicting golden dragons amongst clouds on a dark teal ground. The side panels show lotus flowers and a dragonfly in similar colors. The visible construction is wood. Markings include ‘G6’ painted on the interior of one cabinet door.
