Another Great Auction 6th November
A lot comprising three framed artworks. The first two are watercolors, presented in matching gold-toned frames under glass. One watercolor depicts a mountain landscape with figures and a small settlement. The second watercolor portrays a bustling harbor scene with numerous sailing vessels, signed “J. Stoner” in the lower left corner, executed in a style indicative of late 19th to early 20th-century landscape or marine painting. The third item is a monochrome print, framed in black under glass, depicting a stylized nocturnal crucifixion scene featuring a crescent moon and stars. This print includes an apparent artist’s monogram (possibly ‘RK’ or ‘ER’) in the lower right of the image, and the German inscription “Bring uns den Frieden o Jesu” (Bring us peace, O Jesus) beneath the image.
