Another Great Auction 6th November
A Chinese porcelain ‘Wanhua’ (Ten Thousand Flowers) double-gourd snuff bottle. The body is extensively decorated with vibrant polychrome enamels, depicting an all-over pattern of various flowers and foliage on a bright yellow ground. It is topped with a polished dark green stone or glass stopper. The base features a red four-character reign mark, “大清乾隆” (Dà Qīng Qiánlóng), which translates to “Great Qing Qianlong.”
