Another Great Auction 6th November
A small, bulbous porcelain snuff bottle, featuring polychrome enamel decoration on a white glazed ground. The decoration depicts a seated figure beneath a tree with red-dotted foliage, on a simple landscape base. The bottle is topped with a dark, polished stopper, likely of stone or a similar hard material. The base carries an underglaze blue four-character mark, “乾隆年製” (Qiánlóng nián zhì), which translates to “Made in the Qianlong period.”
