Another Great Auction 6th November
A collection of eleven heptagonal 50 pence coins, crafted from a silver-toned metal, likely cupro-nickel, representing modern British or Commonwealth coinage. These are commemorative issues featuring various designs, including a “BAILWICK OF JERSEY FIFTY PENCE” coin, one with boxing gloves, an architectural structure (possibly Westminster Abbey), two coins prominently featuring the inscription “Peace Prosperity Land Friendship with all nations 31 January 2010”, another with a leaping horse motif, “THE TALE OF PETER RABBIT”, “TOM KITTEN”, and a coin commemorating the “BATTLE OF 1066 HASTINGS 2016”.
