Another Great Auction 6th November
A diverse collection of approximately twenty decorative and utilitarian household items. The lot primarily comprises picture frames of various sizes and materials including natural wood, stained wood, and metal, one of which contains an antique-style child’s portrait. Also included are an oval mirror with an ornate, possibly gilded, floral-embellished frame; a woven rattan caddy with a central handle; a rustic wooden slatted crate; a hand-painted wooden letter organizer adorned with floral and bird motifs; and several carved wooden animal-shaped objects, likely napkin rings or small figures, depicting horses and a deer. Visible text includes a white framed sign reading “Have tea with me the gossip is free,” and a placeholder insert in another frame with “schönes” (German for ‘beautiful’) followed by “Harriet.”
