Another Great Auction 6th November
A bottle of Copeland Smugglers Reserve Bordeaux Grand Cru Rum. This contemporary matte black glass bottle features a blue plastic cap and an elaborate blue and orange paper label. The label prominently displays “COPELAND RUM,” “SMUGGLERS RESERVE,” and “BORDEAUX GRAND CRU,” alongside “42% ALC/VOL,” “70 CL,” “PRODUCT OF IRELAND,” and “EST. 2016.” The rum is described as being produced from cane molasses, distilled, and matured in Kentucky bourbon and Bordeaux Grand Cru red wine casks. A copper-toned medallion with a compass rose design is affixed to the bottle’s shoulder. Additional labels confirm it is a “Killyleagh Harbour Master Grand Cru Edition” associated with “1633” and marked “FOR THE UK MARKET,” with a visible barcode “5 060497 320345” and health warnings.
