Another Great Auction 6th November
A bottle of Kakira Golden Rum 7 Year Old. This contemporary, sealed glass bottle appears full and in new condition with intact paper labels and a gold foil cap. The front label features a detailed black and gold illustration of a lion’s head and states “RUM MADE FROM PURE SUGAR CANE,” “SOLERA SYSTEM AGED 7 YEARS,” “70 cl,” “43% Vol.,” and “EXPORT QUALITY.” Additional text identifies it as from “KAKIRA DISTILLERY.” The back label provides detailed product information, stating the rum is distilled, aged, and bottled by “Kakira Sugar Limited, Uganda” from sugarcane grown at the Kakira Estate, aged in Solera systems for a minimum of 7 years in Bourbon and Sherry casks. It also lists “Alfa Spirits (UK) Ltd” as the importer and includes a barcode and a UK Duty Paid sticker.
