Another Great Auction 6th November
A contemporary glass bottle of Kakira Gold Rum, 7 Years Aged, produced by Kakira Distillery. The clear glass bottle contains an amber-gold spirit and is adorned with prominent black and gold paper labels. The front label features a detailed illustration of a lion’s head and identifies the product as “KAKIRA RUM GOLD,” “7 YEARS AGED” using a “SOLERA SYSTEM,” produced by “KAKIRA DISTILLERY” and “LOCATED ON THE SHORES OF LAKE VICTORIA, THE SOURCE OF THE RIVER NILE.” It also indicates “70 cl” and “43% Vol.” The back label specifies that the rum is made from pure sugarcane grown in Uganda since 1930, pot-distilled, and aged in hand-selected Bourbon and Sherry casks. Import details for Alfa Spirits (UK) Ltd. and standard UK alcohol warnings are present. The neck is sealed with a gold-colored foil cap, and a UK market stamp is visible at the bottle’s base.
