This lot comprises a group of five Christian crucifixes. One is a standing altar crucifix crafted from brass or bronze-toned metal. The remaining four are wall-mounted types, varying in materials including dark wood, brass or bronze-toned metal, a silver-toned metal, a light-colored resin or carved wood, and a distinct copper-toned decorative metal cross. All crucifixes prominently feature a corpus, and most display the inscription “INRI” (Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum) above the figure’s head. One decorative crucifix additionally features “IHS” (Iesus Hominum Salvator) below the corpus.
The largest crucifix measures 12 inches.
