A large collection of 182 pieces of Paragon ‘Athena’ fine bone china dinner and tea service, crafted from white porcelain or fine china, extensively decorated with ornate gold-colored banding and intricate patterns along the rims and handles. The collection includes multiple tea/coffee pots, sugar bowls, creamers, numerous teacups and soup bowls with handles, accompanying saucers, various sizes of dinner plates, salad plates, and bread plates, as well as several serving bowls and a lidded tureen. The style is traditional and elegant, suggesting a mid-20th-century or later production. Visible markings on some plates are inventory tags, reading “4033” and “182 D.7.0.0.”, which are internal cataloging notes.
