The machine is branded ‘JAKEY,’ manufactured and designed by J&A Engineering Ltd., 318 Green Lanes, London, N.4. The motor was produced by Kingsbourne Electric Ltd., Bournemouth, England, with specifications indicating 230-250 Volts, 1/10 H.P., and 1400 R.P.M. Constructed primarily from cast metal, it features a green translucent plastic or glass shield and is powered by a black electrical cord with a UK-style plug marked ‘FUSES.’
