This lot comprises 4 cased cutlery sets. Prominently featured is a twelve-piece table cutlery set (six knives, six forks) with natural stag antler handles, presented in a red-trimmed, cream-lined case. This case displays retailer markings for “Greenwood / Jewellers & Watch Specialists / LEEDS. BRADFORD. HARTLEPOOL.” and manufacturer details for “Butlers / SHEFFIELD / ENGLAND”. Also included is a larger set of smaller knives and forks with cream-colored faux bone or ivory handles in a wooden case with blue lining, and a three-piece carving or game set with stag antler handles in an open, satin-lined wooden box. A single ornate fork and knife with silver-plated and faux bone/ivory elements are contained in a pink-lined case. The collection further includes several other closed cases of varying materials, including wood, red textured, brown textured, and black textured. The “Butlers / SHEFFIELD / ENGLAND” marking suggests a likely British origin, indicative of mid-20th century production.
