This rectangular mixed-media panel depicts a meditative Buddha head, featuring a textured black ground. The Buddha’s face is rendered in painted bronze and gold tones with closed eyes, while the ushnisha is represented by numerous raised, spiraled golden relief elements, topped by a prominent golden flame-like aureola. Two additional golden leaf motifs are present in the lower corners, and scattered pink and white petal-like forms float across the dark background. The panel’s edges are finished in gold.
