Buyer's premium:

A substantial archive of paper ephemera, including books, numerous handwritten and typed documents, various photographs, and printed materials. The collection primarily dates from the mid-18th to late 20th century, with some genealogical documents bearing visible dates as early as 1584. Key items include a green-covered publication titled “1939-1945 THE WAR DEAD OF THE BRITISH COMMONWEALTH AND EMPIRE, SALERNO WAR CEMETERY Part I, ITALY 1,” and a blue booklet labeled “AIRCRAFT ICING.” The extensive loose documents consist of handwritten letters and large, multi-panel genealogical charts. The black and white photographs depict individuals, groups (including a young Ringo Starr), and aerial scenes, predominantly from the mid-20th century. Other printed ephemera includes a “FOOTBALL LEAGUE SOCCER CHAMPIONS” chart with various team kits (e.g., Everton, Arsenal, Man Utd), likely from the 1960s-70s, and a print or rubbing of what appears to be a medal or plaque bearing the inscription “NAPOLEON BONAPARTE EMPEREUR DES FRANCAIS.” Also present are two silver-colored coins and a partially visible framed picture.
