Another Great Auction 6th November
A group of three decorative ceramic vessels. The tallest item, a vase with a flared rim, is characterized by a vibrant polychrome glaze featuring textured speckled bands in green and pink, elaborately decorated with floral and paisley motifs, consistent with Mexican Tonala folk art pottery. The central ewer, made of stoneware-like ceramic, features a prominent handle and spout, adorned with intricate relief work including Greek key geometric patterns and mythological figures; its base is clearly marked “MADE IN GREECE,” indicating its origin. The smallest pitcher, inspired by ancient Greek pottery styles, features black-figure style decoration depicting classical figures and patterns on a distressed yellow ground with a black handle and fluted rim. All items appear to be ceramic or pottery.
Height of tallest vase: 12 inches
